Increased exploitation of juvenile fish population by bulltrawlers during the early post-monsoon fishing seasonof 1992 along the Dakshina Kannada coast, Karnataka

The operation of bull trwalers are common along the coastal waters of Dakshina Kannada. The operational details, catch and catch composition, juvenile exploitation and its impact on resource of the region during 1992 observed from Malpe and Manglore are reported.
