Animal nutrition additive and its production

1994
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition which is free from the loss of volatile component at the time of blending with feed and is harmless to a human skin as well by covering a carrier absorbing a volatile and stimulus produce with coagulated protein fine grain. CONSTITUTION: First of all, after (A) the volatile product (e.g. thymol) and/or the stimulus product (e.g. capsaicine) are dissolved to (B) a first coagulant (desirably cresols and/or resorcin) consisting of replacement phenol, the solution is absorbed by (C) granular vegetable and/or organic carrier (sawdust, expansive silica, etc.). Successively, after an obtained lump is mixed with (D) the coagulated protein (e.g. casein), water is sprayed to the lump under the presence of (E) a second coagulant (e.g. tannin powder). Then, a solution obtained by dissolving the component A into the component B is absorbed to the component C and in order to reduce a free contact area, the component C is combined and covered with the component D to obtain the desired component.
