Ferromagnetic Resonance Characterization of Magnetic Nanowires for Biolabel Applications

Ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) characterization is widely applied to extract dynamic magnetic properties from nanowires and thin films. This paper discusses the possibility of establishing a biomarker labeling system with ferromagnetic nanowires and coplanar waveguide (CPW) based FMR detection techniques. The results have validated the possibility and show the potential of ferromagnetic nanowire based biolabels.
