Extract combinations of Curcuma zedoaria and Aloe vera inhibit melanin synthesis and dendrite formation in murine melanoma cells

Summary T he objective of the study was to determine the effect of role of combinat ion of extracts of Curcuma zedoaria and Aloe vera in reducin g melanin synthesis. Yaryin g concentrations of the extracts of the plan ts were tested fo r melanogenesis and tyrosi nase activity in murine melanoma cells. Extract combin ations at a concentrati on of 1-5µ1 showed 50-J 50% reduction in melanogenesis without altering the celi proliferation.
