Enzimas Associadas à Indução de Resistência em Morangueiro pelo Uso de Quitosana e Acibenzolar-S-Metil Enzymes Associated with Resistance Induction in Strawberry Plants by Chitosan and Acibenzolar-S-Methyl Application

2012
Studies related to the use of inductors of plant resistance to pathogens have shown great importance, specially considering the demand for healthy fruits. The aim of this work was to evaluate the enzymes activity associated with resistance induction in strawberry plants by chitosan and Acibenzolar-S-Methyl (ASM) application. The experiment was designed in completely randomized blocks, with 16 plant by plot and five replications. The chitosan (1.0%), ASM (0.0025%), fungicides application tiofanato-metilico (0,0049%), iprodione (0,0075%) e folpete (0,00135%) and distilled water were the treatments tested. The treatments were applied 45 days after that the strawberry plants from variety Aroma were planted. It was collected leaf samples 24, 72, 120 and 168 hours after the treatments applications. The quitinase and β-1,3-glucanase PRs-proteins are activated by the use inductors, being the activity of β-1,3-glucanase great during the first 120 hours and quitinase after 168 hours of inductors application.
