Создание лекарственных форм на основе низкомолекулярного хитозана и изучение их биологической активности

2004
The composition of oligomer fraction of low-molecular chitosan (LMC) has been studied using HPLC method, and it was shown, that the oligomer part of LMC (M = 10,7 kDa) is a mixture of oligomers with the large amount of monomers (30,82 %). The antibacterial activity of LMC was studied on two wound cultures: E. coli and St. albus. The LMC (M = 72 kDa) revealed the highest antibacterial effect in the concentration 20 mg/ml. We have developed the technology of the medicinal forms merylcellulose-100 gel (MC gel), containing LMC in different concentrations. The wound healing effect of these gels was studied. It was shown, that the gels possess the wound healing properties. Using the time of wound half closure as the evaluation criteria the most effective forms are gel, containing LMC (M=72 kDa) in the concentration 2 %, and gel, containing LMC (10,7 kDa) in the concentration 0,1 %.
