Evaluación de la respuesta inmunomoduladora de la “echinacea angustifolia” homeopatizada en cultivo de células mononucleares en sangre periférica humana / Evaluation of the response immunomodulatory "echinacea angustifolia" homeopathic growing mononuclear cells in human peripheral blood

Introduccion: La “Echinacea angustifolia”, es uno de los medicamentos herbolarios mas representativos y utilizado en todo el mundo. Se han realizado diferentes estudios para valorar su respuesta frente al sistema inmune, observandose que actua sobre la mayoria de celulas inmunitarias, provocando una modulacion en su respuesta. Estos estudios se han realizado con “Echinacea” como medicamento fitoterapeutico, no se han realizado estudios en su presentacion homeopatica. El objetivo de este estudio es evaluar la respuesta de el sistema inmune frente a la “Echinacea” homeopatizada. Materiales y Metodos: La cuantificacion de los niveles de las citoquinas IL1b , IL 6, IL 8, IL 10, FNT, se determinaron sobre celulas mononucleares en sangre periferica humana tratadas con “Echinacea angustifolia” homeopatizada a la potencia 30 CH, mediante el ensayo “Cytokine Human Panel” Invitrogen en el equipo Luminex 200. Resultados: Con respecto a la viabilidad celular se encontro una proliferacion de las celulas mononucleares de hasta un 40 % mas en comparacion que el control, esto demostro que si hay efectos mitogenicos de la “Echinacea” homeopatizada sobre las celulas mononucleares, lo que puede concluir que si hay una modulacion positiva a nivel del sistema inmune comparables con su la presentacion fitoterapeutica. Los resultados del analisis de citoquinas IL1b.IL 6, IL 8, IL 10, FNT, medidos en el equipo de Luminex, demostro que los mecanismos inmonomoduladores de la “Echinacea” homeopatizada posiblemente no estan asociadas a estas citoquinas o que su estimulacion se de a otras potencias. Conclusiones: Los resultados del estudio mostraron un efecto mitogenico a nivel de las celulas mononucleares expuestas a la “Echinacea angustifolia” homeopatizada, este estudio, deja la puerta abierta, para la realizacion de nuevos proyectos. / Abstract. Introduction: "Echinacea angustifolia" is one of the most representative and herbal medicines used around the world. There have been several studies to assess their response to the immune system, noting that most acts on immune cells, causing a modulation in the response. These studies have been conducted with "Echinacea" as herbal medicinal products have not been studied in homeopathic presentation. The objective of this study is to evaluate the immune response against the "Echinacea" homeopathic. Materials and Methods: Quantification of the levels of cytokines IL1 b ,, IL 6, IL 8, IL 10, TNF, were determined on peripheral blood mononuclear cells treated with human "Echinacea angustifolia" homeopathic potency to 30 CH, by the essay "Human Cytokine Panel" on your computer Invitrogen Luminex 200. Conclusions: The results showed a mitogenic effect on the level of mononuclear cells exposed to "Echinacea angustifolia" homeopathic, this study opens the door for the realization of new projects.
