Method for preparing superfine iron powder at low cost

2012
The invention relates to a method for preparing superfine iron powder at low cost. The method comprises the following steps of: taking iron oxide red recovered and purified by an iron and steel plant as a raw material; conveying the raw material to a fluidized bed from the upper part of the fluidized bed by a feeding device; introducing reducing gas and protective gas by a gas supply device from the bottom of the fluidized bed and fluidizing the raw material after the gas passes through a gas distribution plate in the fluidized bed; meanwhile, improving a fluidized state of the raw material, enhancing gas-solid contact and increasing reaction efficiency by a stirring device through rotation of paddle blades in the fluidized bed; raising the temperature in the fluidized bed to reducing temperature by a heating device and then starting to perform reducing reaction in the fluidized bed to reduce Fe2O3 into Fe; and closing reducing gas after the reduction is finished, increasing the flow speed of the protective gas, and enabling iron powder to be blown out of the fluidized bed from the upper part and enter a separation device after the gas speed exceeds a terminal speed, storing the separated product, and meanwhile, treating the separated tail gas. According to the method, the gas-solid contact of the raw material can be effectively enhanced, the reaction efficiency is increased, the production cost is low, and continuous batch production can be realized.
