Identification of novel genes differentially expressed in haemopoietic progenitor cells

2001
Haemopoietic progenitor cells are important and rare cells that have the unique capacity to produce all the mature blood cells and potentially other tissues such as nerve, muscle and liver. This thesis identified and characterised two novel genes which are believed to play a part in the regulation of the growth, death and maturation of these clinically important cells.
