The invention discloses a high-capacity lithium titanate-zinc ferrite composite anode material and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method of the high-capacity lithium titanate-zinc ferrite composite anode material comprises the following steps of firstly dissolving a zinc source, an iron source and organic additives in a solvent to form a zinc-iron solution, adjusting the pH of the zinc-iron solution to be alkaline, heating the zinc-iron solution, adding lithium salt and a titanium source and dispersing so that the lithium-titanium-zinc-iron solution is subjected to liquid phase reaction to obtain a precursor and finally roasting the precursor. The anode material prepared from the precursor has better conductivity and larger high-magnification charge/discharge hour capacity. In addition, by the preparation method, the manufacturing cost of the entire process is also decreased and the composite anode material is suitable for industrial production of high-capacity lithium battery anode materials or super capacitors.
