Design of Balanced Reactor Welded with Water-Cooled Aluminum Busbars

A new process of welding aluminum water-cooled busbars is proposed. It can not only reduce the weight and cost, but also improve the dynamic and thermal stability. Furthermore, both finite element method analysis and a prototype test testify the advantages of the design which is not limited by load current and provides a new approach for water-cooled reactors.
