Procedure for obtaining triethanolamine ester salts, quaternized fatty acid color and odor stable.
1994
The invention relates ESTER A TRIETHANOLAMINE SALTS OF FATTY ACID QUATERNARY formula (I) wherein R SUP {1} is a group CO acyl group containing 6 to 22 carbon atoms; R SUB {2} {SUB YR, 3}, INDEPENDENTLY one another, they are hydrogen OR SUP {1} CO; R {SUP, 4} is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a (CH {SUB, SUB 2} {CH 2} O) {SUB, Q} H; N, MYP WEE together are 0 or a number from 1 to 12; Q is a number from 1 to 12 and x is a halide, sulfate or alkyl phosphate ALKYL. Such salts exhibit high color stability and ODOR, EVEN IN STORAGE FOR LONG PERIODS, AND CAN BE OBTAINED BY (A) esterifying FATTY triethanolamine IN THE PRESENCE OF hypophosphorous acid, (B) REACTION PRODUCTS esterification COMPOUNDS peroxide and alkali metal borates and (c) quaternization REALIZATION OF DERIVATIVES IN THE PRESENCE FENOL hydroxycarboxylic acids as stabilizers.
