CONCRETE PROTECTION WHEN FOUNDING STRUCTURES IN SOIL WITH GROUND WATER OF CARBONIC ACID CHARACTERISTICS

1989
The article discusses measures for concrete protection in ground water with aggressive carbonic acid. The influence of carbonic acid on concrete has also been discussed. It points out that when founding structures on piles in a wet environment with a high degree of carbonic acid, the best protection of concrete can be achieved by using precast piles constructed with aluminate cement.
