The thermoelectric module and manufacturing processes

A compact slung small thermoelectric module with a high thermal resistance, the same performance is required compared to a conventional thermoelectric module less semiconductor material includes, - a substrate (11) with a substrate front side (11a) and one of the substrate front side (11a) opposite the substrate rear side (11b) - a plurality of thermoelectric elements (12a) with a first thermo-electrically active material (18) and contacts (16a, 16b) for electrical and thermal contact with the first thermoelectrically active material (18) at the hot and cold sides (14, 15), each thermoelectric element (12a) as a layer on the substrate front side (11a) is applied, - a plurality of thermoelectric elements (12b) with a second thermo-electrically active material (21) and contacts (19a, 19b) for electrical and thermal contact of the thermoelectrically active material (21) at the hot and cold sides (14, 15), each thermoelectric element (12b) is applied as a layer on the substrate rear side (11b) - as well as electrically conductive connections between the thermoelectric elements (12a, 12b) on the substrate front side (11a) and substrate rear side (11b). In addition, a method for inexpensive manufacture of such a thermoelectric module is disclosed.
