A novel secure multicast signaling protocol in ASON

2010
Aiming at the security threats existing in multicast signaling process in automatic switched optical network(ASON),an efficient secure multicast signaling protocol based on the GMPLS RSVP-TE is presented. This protocol uses the P2MP signaling model, and makes use of digital signature and message feedback security mechanisms to protect the constant and important variable objects in signaling messages. In addition, considering the dynamic character of group members, this protocol adopts efficient group key management strategies to ensure the forward and backward secrecy of the group communications.Through simulation experiment and analysis,it is proved that this protocol can ensure the security of multicast tree establishment, and achieve satisfactory blocking probability and key update delay.
