Fuzziness in TCM Terms and Its Translation Strategies

Based on the four main reasons for linguistic fuzziness,namely,generality and Abstraction of linguistic symbols,connections between things,people's limited cognition and intentional vague expressions,the paper demonstrations the existence of fuzziness in TCM terms.As far as the translation of such fuzzy terms is concerned,the paper focuses on both "changing" and "keeping" strategies which include such translation methods as westernization,supplement and omission,clarification,direct translation,pinyin translation and pinyin with annotation translation.
