Automatic compensation system for automotive headlamps

2000
An automatic equalization system includes optical axis L of headlamps, which are adapted to tilt by driving of actuators 10 relative to the body of a vehicle, a control part 16 for controlling the drive of the actuating devices 10, a sensor 12 for the vehicle speed, a sensor 14 for the vehicle height, and a memory part 20 for storing the record from the sensor 14 for the vehicle height pitch angle data. The control part 16 controls the actuators 10 on the basis of a detected pitch angle so that the optical axes L of the headlamps are inclined relative to the road surface in a vorbestimten angle.
