The invention relates to a method for controlling a drag torque, an electric motor-driven motor vehicle, wherein a regulating device influences the drag torque with a corresponding change in the position of an accelerator pedal, wherein a sensor device on a road surface on which the motor vehicle is located, senses a tire and a computing device for is available, wherein the computing device causes the control device to adjust the drag torque in dependence on the coefficient of friction. The invention also relates to an apparatus having means which are suitable for performing such a method.
