The present invention relates to a trim part with the airbag assembly (14) for the interior of a motor vehicle. The trim part comprises a support (2) on which an airbag module (1) is arranged. Between the carrier (2) and the airbag module (1) is formed at least in sections a groove (6). A primary connecting element (3) comprising an adhesive is disposed within the joint (6), so that the primary connection element (3) is connected both to the carrier (2) as well as to the airbag module (1) insoluble. Furthermore, the trim part comprises at least one secondary connecting element (4) for preliminary fixation of the airbag module (1) on the carrier (2) before the non-detachable connection between the carrier (2) and air bag module (1) using the primary coupling element (3) is generated. Furthermore, the present invention includes a method of manufacturing such a trim part.
