The invention discloses a method for detecting the soft heating property of an iron-containing raw material for a blast furnace, which belongs to the technical field of iron-making raw material property detection. According to the method, iron ore which is pre-reduced and made into a sample is put into a high temperature gold-phase heating furnace of a high temperature laser confocal microscope for heating, and by observing the state change of the iron ore test sample at high temperature in real time, the softening starting temperature, the softening final temperature and the primary slag free flowing temperature of the iron ore can be visibly and accurately analyzed, so that more comprehensive metallurgy property data of the iron ore in the blast furnace evolution process are obtained, and important basis for improving the quality of a raw material and stabilizing the production of the blast furnace is provided.
