Systemtheoretische Grundlagen der Organisationspädagogik

2018
Organizational education mainly discusses three issues: the understanding of organizations, organizational learning and organizational identity. One of the reference theories also used is the system theory. One difference lies in the definition of organizations: While in organizational education organizations are defined as a network of actors, the system theory regards organizations as a network of communicated decisions. Another difference is the fact that the normativity of organizational practice is regarded as central for the organizational education, whereas the system theory primarily considers the functionality of organizational structures and processes. The subject of this paper is the importance, which the system theory may have for organizational education beyond these differences in its basic assumptions.
