Behaviour of electrical resistivity and elastic constants at the phase transition in Ge0.08Sn0.92Te

1976
Abstract Electrical resistivity and ultrasonic wave velocity measurements made through the phase transition in Ge 0.08 Sn 0.92 Te crystals provide further evidence that the acoustic anomaly is due to interaction between the softening optic phonon mode and the acoustic modes at the zone centre.
