Method for inducing adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells into corneal epithelial-like cells

2015
The invention discloses a method for inducing adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells into corneal epithelial-like cells and aims to solve the problem of scarcity of corneal epithelial substitutes. A transcriptional factor gene-paired box 6 gene is adopted to be transfected into adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells to induce the adipose tissue-derived mesenchymal stem cells to be trans-differentiated into corneal epithelial-like cells, so that the method is definite, simple and convenient, and the identification result is testified to be reliable. The obtained corneal epithelial-like cells can be used for repairing damage of cornea epithelium and forming an integral stratified cornea epithelium (testified by approval tests), and have a potential clinical application prospect as a stem cell treatment medicine. The corneal epithelial-like cells are used for building tissue engineering cornea epitheliums and have a relatively broad market application prospect.
