Efficiency and quality investigation of the phase conjugation of degenerate four-wave parametric mixing of picosecond pulses in resonance dye

Abstract The phase conjugation of ultrashort light pulses by degenerate four-wave parametric mixing in the resonance dye 3955 is experimentally realized with high efficiency. Dependences of reflectance and quality of a conjugate wave on the pumping energy and dye concentration are obtained and compared.
