Photoacoustic laser magnetic resonance

1999
Abstract A new method of detecting laser magnetic resonance in the gas phase that employs the measurement of a modulated photoacoustic signal is reported in this Letter. The technique is applied to a study of the NO 2 spectrum using both light intensity and laser cavity frequency modulation. The method is demonstrated to have higher sensitivity than the usual absorption techniques.
