Article of bibliographical nature that it aims at to understand the meaning that the necessities of the social assistance represent, as well as the limits and the possibilities that if they present, in the present time, for the paradigm overcoming of the assistance to the child victim for domestic violence. As limits factors, it is verified that the necessities of health more understood and identified by the health team when of the assistance to the victim child they are the organic necessities, what makes it difficult the transforming work for an approach with the beginning of the completeness. It enters the possibilities of approach with the paradigm overcoming, verifies it importance of the critical conscience on the reality and the recognition of the work as powerful category for the transformations, over all, when it is set in motion to carry through the satisfaction of health necessities, beyond the recognition of the necessity of a new to know instrument as orienting of the work processes, essential element for the adequacy of the professional profile of the social assistant and for an approach with the transformation of the assistance model the victim child. Social assistance. 1 Introducao O desrespeito aos direitos da infância e adolescencia, foi ampla e intensamente debatido durante a decada de 80 por instituicoes governamentais e movimentos sociais, culminando na extincao do codigo de menores (1979), pelo qual, criancas e adolescentes, excluidos socialmente, eram considerados em "situacao irregular", e, na inclusao do art. 227: "E dever da familia, da comunidade, da sociedade em geral e do poder publico assegurar, com absoluta prioridade a efetivacao dos direitos referentes a vida, a saude, a alimentacao, a educacao" na Constituicao Federal (1988); a partir deste momento, a crianca / adolescente, tornam-se legalmente sujeitos de direitos, o que respalda a elaboracao do Estatuto da Crianca e do Adolescente (Lei no 8.69 / 1990), regido pela doutrina da Protecao Integral (art. 1o / ECA)
