The invention relates to an improved smoke temperature adjusting system for selective catalytic reduction. The improved smoke temperature adjusting system comprises a tail smoke channel, and an economizer and a denitration device are arranged in the tail smoke channel. The improved smoke temperature adjusting system is characterized in that a smoke baffle door is installed in front of the economizer, and the smoke baffle door is controlled by a control system to be opened and closed and is located in the tail smoke channel. The improved smoke temperature adjusting system can achieve the purpose of adjusting the smoke temperature, and guarantee that the SCR denitration device can be used no matter whether the SCR denitration device is at a high load or a low load; in addition, due to the fact that the temperature of discharged smoke of a boiler is low, high boiler efficiency is also guaranteed, and high efficiency and low pollution are achieved. Practice proves that the improved smoke temperature adjusting system is remarkable in effect, the structure is easy to achieve, and the improvement cost is low.
