Advances in Lithium Battery

Lithium batteries are primary batteries that have lithium as an anode. These types of batteries are also referred to as lithium-metal batteries. They stand apart from other batteries in their high charge density (long life) and high cost per unit. Depending on the design and chemical compounds used, lithium cells can produce voltages from 1.5 V (comparable to a zinc–carbon or alkaline battery) to about 3.7 V. In the present book, fifteen typical literatures about lithium battery research  published on international authoritative journals were selected to introduce the worldwide newest progress, which contains reviews or original researches on Lithium Ion Battery, Lithium Polymer Battery Cell, Battery Circuit Model, Lithium Ion Battery Electrode Slurries, Battery Performance, Lithium-Sulfur Battery, Lithium-Iron-Phosphate Battery, etc. We hope this book can demonstrate advances in lithium batteries as well as give references to the researchers, students and other related people.
