Computer-based Training in Statistical Quality Control

This paper briefly reviews the use of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques to improve computer-based training. It then describes the design and facilities of a system to teach some of the basics of statistical process control (SPC) constructed using a proprietary expert system shell.
