The characteration of memory stem-cell like T cell

Memory stem cell-like T cell (TSCM) is a new distinct population of memory T cells,TSCM cells not only possess the memory T cells character,but exhibits stem cell properties.TSCM cells have na(i)ve like phenotype,but TSCM cells can quickly accquire analogous memory T cell function,memory associated marker and gene patteren following TCR stimulation.TSCM cells display robustly proliferation ability in response to IL-15 stimulation but still maintain their initial naive-like phenotype.TSCM cells are multipotent,some of them differentiate into central memory T cells (TCM) and effector memory T cells (TEM) with the TCR stimulation.In tumor model,TSCM cells reveal improved therapeutic effect compared with TCM and TEM cells.TSCM cells become a potential most effective therapeutic T cells for cancer immunotherapy.
