REMOTE CONTROL AND DISPLAY FOR TEXTOR WITH A CAMAC-COMPUTER-SYSTEM

The revised control and data acquisition scheme for the TEXTOR tokamak, which is in the final stage of construction, contains a CAMAC computer system for remote control and display. The major components of this system, including fibre optic data transmission and the central control console incorporating advanced control concepts, are described.
