Thorium tetrafluoride reaction with hydrazinium(1+) fluoride and with anhydrous hydrazine

Abstract The systems ThF 4 H 2 H 5 FH 2 O and ThF 4 N 2 H 4 have been investigated. The complex fluoride (N 2 H 5 ) 3 ThF 7 and the addition compounds ThF 4 . N 2 H 4 and 3ThF 4 . 5N 2 H 4 have been isolated. I.R. spectra of the compounds are given as well as the X-ray powder diffraction data. The thermal decomposition of the complex fluoride is discussed.
