Manipulation of multi-dimensional plasmonic spectra for information storage

We demonstrate a concept to enhance the capacity of optical data storage through plasmonic resonances of metallic nano-structures. Metallic nano-structures exhibit strong variations in their optical spectra due to surface plasmon resonances. It should be possible to store and retrieve data from each plasmonic spectra.
