Data comparative analysis for the fluxgate magnetometers in Zhaoqing Geomagnetic Observatory

In this paper,we comparatively analyzed the H?D and Z component data obtained by GM3 and Flare-plus fluxgate magnetometers in Zhaoqing Geomagnetic Observatory.According to the results of variation tendency,the inspection of mean value and variance and the analysis of baseline value,we think that two instruments are equal in precision and variation tendency but exist a little bit of difference in mean value.In comparison with Flare-plus magnetometer made in U.K.,the observation precision and stability of GM3 magnetometer made in China have partially reached the advanced level possessed by the high precision geo-magnetometers in the world.But it should be improved to reduce the influence of the temperature on the sensor and zero drift.
