Abstract Gas chromatographic studies of perfluorocarbon compounds. II. Gas chromatographic separation of mixtures of long-chain perfluoroalkanes and -alkenes. The Kovats retention indices of some perfluoro- n -alkanes, perfluoro- n -alk-1-enes, branched-chain perfluoroalkenes, cyclic perfluorocarbons, 1-H-perfluoro- n -al-kanes are determined on several fluoro-containing and non-fluoro-containing liquid phases and on some adsorbents. The results are compared with each other and give information about the nature and degree of interaction processes concerning the type of perfluorocarbon compound and liquid phase.
