Analogs of thrombomodulin higher for pharmaceutical use.

1991
The invention concerns the use of analogs of thrombomodulin (TM) HAVING ABILITY TO IMPROVE MEDIATISED Thrombin ACTIVATION PROTEIN C BUT HAVING A CAPACITY SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCED FOR INHIBITING ACTIVITIES procoagulant DIRECTAS Thrombin, such as, EXAMPLE, THE CONVERSION MEDIATISED thrombin of fibrinogen to fibrin. These analogs, are useful, for example, antithrombotic therapy. They have been discovered new proteins, gene sequence nucleic acid, pharmaceuticals and methods for inhibiting the activity purpura. METHODS ARE INCLUDED TO INCREASE THE AVERAGE CIRCULATION OF PROTEIN.
