The present invention relates to a method for preparing a catalyst support for basic furandicarboxylic acid carbonaceous solids, the alkaline carbonaceous support is carbon - magnesium oxide or magnesium carbonate complex. Phenolic compounds or the like using a saccharide as a carbon source, magnesium oxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium salt, etc. as a magnesium source, using precipitation composite solvothermal or hydrothermal and high temperature carbonization in an inert atmosphere, i.e., obtain an alkaline carbonaceous solid catalyst support. After which a noble metal oxide for the preparation of 5-hydroxymethyl furfural furan dicarboxylic acid in the absence of a homogeneous alkaline conditions (FDCA), and achieved excellent results, the yield of up to 95% FDCA, and reusable multiple times. The present invention is based on cheap raw materials, by a simple and feasible synthetic route to obtain a stable alkaline solid carbonaceous catalyst support.
