The research focuses on the use of Arabic in the daily conversations of students at Pondok Modern Darul Hijrah Putri. Starting with the obligation to speak a foreign language for students, then accompanied by the process of language contact carried out by the students every day and every time. With this foreign language obligation, especially Arabic without realizing it, the use of the language is not in accordance with Official Arabic because it is influenced by the mother tongue. These discrepancies include code mixing and interference in everyday conversations. The formulations of the problems in this study are: 1) what is the process of contacting the language of the Santriwati Pondok Modern Darul Hijrah Putri? 2) What are the code-mixing patterns of the Santriwati Pondok Modern Darul Hijrah Putri? 3) What are the interference patterns of the Santriwati Pondok Modern Darul Hijrah Putri? 4) What are the factors that cause the funds to mix code and interference?. This is a qualitative research with a descriptive method. The subject of the research was the students' Arabic utterance. Data collection was carried out by the researcher himself using the listening and proficient method. Interview method is used to obtain data about the language contact process and the causes of code interference and interference in the Arabic they use. While the documentation is used to obtain a profile of the Pondok Modern Darul Hijrah Putri. To analyze the data, the researcher used the following steps: data reduction, data presentation and conclusions, while the language speech data were analyzed using the error analysis method and comparative analysis. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, the researcher found and concluded several findings including: 1) The Arabic language contact process at the Pondok Modern Darul Hijrah Putri occurred in two contexts, namely the acquisition and learning of Arabic. 2) Code mixing patterns include mixing code words and phrases. 3) The interference patterns include phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical interference patterns. Meanwhile, there are two factors that cause code mixing and interference, namely the influence of the mother tongue or the first language and the second is the attitude towards the second language.
