EXPERIMENT STUDY ON THE ORE DRESSING OF A MICRO-FINE IRON ORE FROM XINJIANG

An magnetite mine in Xinjiang province embed in micro-fine size,magnetic iron ore difficult to achieve 60% of the grade of its ore-dressing,pilot study is carried out.The results showed that: even if the ore fine grinding to-0.048mm 90%,concentrate iron grade of 60% can not obtain by a single magnetic separation.But the use of a weak magnetic separation-magnetic separation column technology,in the final grinding fineness of-0.038 mm 95%,the grade of magnetic column concentrate can be achieved more than 60% over and recovery rate of 87.56% with magnetic column operation.Processing target is good.
