Effect of Antifriction Solid Additives on the Temperature Stability of Bentonite Greases

2020
The temperature stability of bentonite greases based on petroleum (I-40A) and synthetic (PAO-10) oils with the addition of PTFE, molybdenum disulfide, and boron nitride were evaluated. It was found that bentonite lubricants prepared on the basis of industrial oil I-40A have a higher lubricating ability than compared greases based on polyalphaolefine oil PAO-10.
