The apparent disappearance of an idiopathic macular break

A 72-year-old women presented with a crescent-shape macular break OD. With the spontaneous development of posterior vitreous detachment, the macular break disappeared, and the visual acuity improved from 20/60 to 20/40. However, microsperimetry with the scanning laser ophthalmoscope still showed a small, dense scotoma, suggesting the existence of a slit-like macular break
