Geological fundamentals for using the methods for Improved Oil Recovery in the fields of Volga-Ural oil-and-gas province

By the present many different technologies for oil recovery increase have been tested on commercial scale. The technological effect of their use in the same deposits often varies greatly preventing the objective and statistically reliable evaluation of the technologies' efficiency. That means that the efficient commercial use of the tested technologies for the physical and chemical treatment is not feasible under the changed conditions without establishing the detailed scientific geological fundamentals for their use.
