The present invention discloses a method for preparing an in 3,3-pentamethylene butanamide, comprising reacting the hypochlorite dropwise addition of an alkaline solution of 1,1-cyclohexyl dicarboxylic acid monoamide, or a sulphite bisulfite as a reducing agent to decompose excess hypochlorite, after an inorganic acid and then adjusting the pH of the reaction at reflux to give 3,3-lactam pentyl butyrate. The method of preparing amides of the present invention, the yield of the 3,3-pentamethylene butyrate in 92%, purity> 99%, with the starting material readily available and inexpensive, and the phase in the process of green water, may not be used organic solvents, easy operation, suitable for industrial production.
