The anomalous bulk modulus of CeBe13

Abstract Ultrasonic measurements of the elastic constants of CeBe 13 between 0.5 and 350 K show strongly temperature dependent softening of the bulk modulus. This is discussed in terms of a continuous and incomplete γ-α transition of Ce.
