Multi-output bandgap reference circuit with function of nonlinear temperature compensation
2012
The invention provides a multi-output bandgap reference circuit with a function of nonlinear temperature compensation, which at least comprises a negative-temperature-coefficient current generating unit, a positive-temperature-coefficient current generating unit, a temperature detecting unit and a reference current output unit. The negative-temperature-coefficient current generating unit is used for generating IPTAT (inversely proportional to absolute temperature) current, and the positive-temperature-coefficient current generating unit is used for generating PTAT (proportional to absolute temperature) current. The temperature detecting unit is used for temperature detection of voltage between a triode base and an emitter in the positive-temperature-coefficient current generating unit, and converting detecting signals into nonlinear-temperature-coefficient current. The reference current output unit is used for outputting zero-temperature-coefficient reference current after superposing the IPTAT current and the PTAT current. The multi-output bandgap reference circuit is used for lowering temperature coefficient of a traditional bandgap reference circuit to realize reference voltage or current approximate to zero temperature coefficient so as to solve the problems of poor compensation stability, difficulty in control of current conversion precision and the like in the prior art.
