UNIQUE ALGORITHM FOR THE CALCULATION OF GEODETIC DISTANCES WITH THE SOLUTION OF THE FIRST FUNDAMENTAL GEODETIC PROBLEM

Abstract In this note we give a simple precise algorithm for the calculation of short and long geodetic distances using a microcomputer.For problems concerning ‘Maritime Jurisdictional boundaries’ we also give the solution of the first fundamental geodetic problem, which makes it possible to determine intermediate points of a predetermined geodetic arc.
