Low-Carbon Power Dispatch Based on Evolutionary Algorithm with Adaptive Weight

This paper presents a new power dispatch method (low-carbon power dispatch) which pursues economic and low-carbon double targets optimal generation. Based on the mathematic model of economic generation, raise and set up a mathematic model of CO 2 emission by analyzing the feature of the coal-fired power plant, then via the evolutionary algorithm to search the optimal solution. Finally, use the standard power system of IEEE 30 nodes to certify the low-carbon power dispatch method is available or not. Compared the data of this dispatch with the original manner, it is found that the CO 2 emission is reduced much than the increasing fee. Therefore, low-carbon power dispatch can make thermal power generation reduce the pollution of the environment, and so this dispatch method is constructive and has realistic significance.
