DESIGN AND OPERATION OF THE DITE POWER SUPPLIES AND CONTROL SYSTEMS

DITE ( D ivertor I njection T okamak E xperiment) is now operational, and the power supplies are being operated at, or near full power. The paper will describe the components and performance of the toroidal field, ohmic heating and Divertor power supplies, and will include details of some of the control, safety and protective arrangements which have been adopted.
