The invention discloses a segmental planar switch reluctance motor, which comprises a primary mover and a secondary stator, wherein the primary mover comprises a primary iron core and a primary winding; the primary iron core is provided with mover teeth; the secondary stator comprises a secondary iron core and a stator base; the primary iron core comprises a plurality of X-direction primary iron cores and a plurality of Y-direction primary iron cores which are fixed integrally; at least one mover tooth of each X-direction primary iron core and each Y-direction primary iron core is wound with the primary winding; the secondary iron core comprises a plurality of X-direction secondary iron cores and a plurality of Y-direction secondary iron cores which are fixed above the stator base; and in an X direction and a Y direction, the X-direction secondary iron cores and the Y-direction secondary iron cores are arranged alternately to construct a stator iron core matrix. A primary-secondary segmental iron core structure is adopted, so that a magnetic circuit is shortened, the reluctance and iron loss are reduced effectively, magnetic leakage can be reduced effectively, and the efficiency is increased.
