Method for quantitatively forecasting joint toxicity of environmental combined pollutants

2013
The invention discloses a method for forecasting joint toxicity of environmental combined pollutants. The method for forecasting the joint toxicity of the environmental combined pollutants comprises the steps as follows: a combined pollutant effect concentration calculated by CA (concentration addition) and IA (independent action) is taken as an independent variable, and an experimental effect concentration of the combined pollutants is taken as a dependent variable; and a quantitative relation model between the dependent variable and the independent variable is established by using principal component regression analysis. According to the method, the joint toxicity of mixtures can be assessed and forecasted accurately; action mechanisms or action modes among components of the mixtures are not required to be considered; the independent variable colinearity problem of multiple linear regression models is solved; and the method can be used for assessing and forecasting mixtures with the CA modes as well as mixtures with interaction modes (synergistic or antagonistic effects). The method provides a reliable technological means for risk assessment of the environmental combined pollutants.
